A restaurant owner in Hermosa Beach is now dealing with the aftereffects of a destructive break-in that he says was perpetrated by the same man who had previously eaten at his establishment and left without paying.
The owner, Levi Lupercio, told KTLA that a man dined and dashed from his restaurant, Playa Hermosa Fish & Oyster Co., earlier this month.
Lupercio followed him and confronted him on the pier, and according to him, police arrived at the scene as the confrontation was taking place. When asked if he wanted to press charges, Lupercio declined, thinking it would be a waste of time…
