Local hospital worker intervenes to protect child

A Kaiser Permanente employee is being recognized as a local hero after stepping in to protect a child during a potentially dangerous situation near a Fontana elementary school.

After finishing his overnight shift in the emergency department as a clerical clerk at Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center, Greg Barron was driving home along his usual route when he noticed something unusual.
