Fresno PepsiCo rolls out 50 electric delivery trucks, aims to reduce emissions

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – PepsiCo in Fresno is transitioning to battery-powered delivery trucks.

“We have about 5,000-6,000 cars, vehicles coming to Malaga every day, and they’re leaving every day. So just imagine how much emission vehicles are putting out,” Fresno County resident and PepsiCo Manager Salvador Cerrillo said.

The plant announced Wednesday that, over the last year, they have traded in 50 gas-powered delivery trucks for electric ones…
