ELSIE, Mich. (WILX) – One man was found dead after a house fire in rural Clinton County, according to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office.
The fire broke out on the 6700 block of North Watson Road, just west of Elsie and northeast of St. Johns, just before 10 p.m. Wednesday night.
After searching the area, the adult man was found dead outside the home. Authorities would not confirm how the man died, but the case is under investigation.
Crews are also investigating how the fire started. No other victim or pets were found on the property.
