San Diego sued for allegedly not releasing police records to reporter

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A lawsuit was filed Tuesday against the city of San Diego for allegedly failing to release police records to a journalist.

Immigration reporter Kathleen Morrissey claims that she submitted several public records requests to the city last year concerning the San Diego Police Department’s (SDPD) involvement in two federal immigration enforcement operations.
