OAK LAWN, Ill. (WGN) — Oak Lawn police have announced another arrest in a string of cases involving the theft of video gaming terminals (VGTs) at local businesses.
Police said that around 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28, Oak Lawn police officers responded to a burglar alarm at Hog Wild Restaurant, located in the 4000 block of W. 111th Street. Upon arrival, police found a broken glass door and evidence of a burglary.
Oak Lawn police personnel said three vehicles and multiple people were spotted on video at the business during the burglary. The group targeted the ATM inside the video gaming terminal (VGT) area of the business. The ATM was damaged, and the offenders left abruptly, police said…
