KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The National Weather Service confirms a tornado touched down south of Tonganoxie Monday morning.
Surveyors determined the EF1 tornado touched down around 3:30 a.m. and was on the ground for about 50 yards. The tornado began just west of US 24 Highway between Honey Creek Road and Hemphill Road.
