Mobile woman accused of robbing Tillman’s Corner store admits to lesser charge

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A woman accused of robbing a store in Tillman’s Corner pleaded guilty Thursday to the amended charge of first-degree theft and drug possession.

Mobile County Circuit Judge Jay York accepted the plea and sentenced Apryl Sky McLeod, 28, of Mobile, to a three-year suspended prison term and two years’ probation.

Mobile police arrested McLeod in January, accusing her of stealing a blanket from an America’s Thrift Store on U.S. Highway 90 and then threatening to shoot an employee who followed her out to the parking lot to try to stop her…
