Late weekend weather shift could bring showers to parts of Southern California

Southern California’s quiet weather pattern is expected to shift late this weekend, bringing cooler afternoons and a chance of light showers.

“Generally, partly cloudy skies and mostly sunny conditions are expected through Saturday, with our next chances of rain Sunday into Monday, and possibly Monday into Tuesday,” KTLA’s Kirk Hawkins said Thursday morning.
