A violent confrontation in a Natomas-area business parking lot ended with multiple arrests after Sacramento police say a victim was pistol-whipped on Tuesday night and a follow-up investigation quickly zeroed in on several suspects. Detectives say they worked off witness accounts and surveillance footage to track down a possible suspect location, then booked several people on suspicion of felony assault and conspiracy.
According to FOX40, officers first responded to the 1500 block of West El Camino Avenue after the assault was reported. Investigators then identified a possible suspect address in the 1200 block of Garaventa Way. The outlet reports that the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office later stopped a vehicle linked to the case and recovered firearms during that traffic stop. The individuals detained in connection with the stop were booked on suspicion of felony assault and conspiracy, per the same report.
