IOWA CITY, Iowa — A fundraising campaign has been launched for a University of Iowa student who was seriously injured during the Ped Mall shooting in downtown Iowa City.

The campaign, posted on GoFundMe, seeks to support Miranda, who family members say was struck by gunfire while standing in a crowd during a fight at the Pedestrian Mall.

According to the fundraiser, shots were fired into the crowd, and Miranda was shot in the head on April 19. She has been hospitalized in critical condition for more than a week and is being treated in an intensive care unit…
