IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa gave a first look at a new space research facility designed to expand the state’s role in spacecraft development and science.
The Iowa Spaceflight Laboratory was showcased during a media preview on Thursday at Van Allen Hall.
University officials say the facility is built to support the full lifecycle of spacecraft instrument development, including design, testing and integration.
