BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Baton Rouge General is one of three hospitals in the United States to acquire a new surgical system for ear, nose, and throat procedures.
The hospital joins the Mayo Clinic and UNC Health in gaining Medtronic’s Stealth AXiS ENT system, which combines real-time guidance and advanced visualization to guide surgeons during complex surgeries in an area of the body that is hard to see and reach.
