WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Second Light Shelter + Services announced that Mental Health America of South Central Kansas will become the new shelter provider beginning May 15, 2026.
Mental Health America of South Central Kansas (MHASCK) has served the community for nearly 70 years and has been a partner in Second Light planning since its inception, according to a release. HumanKind Ministries will remain a partner with Second Light, shifting focus to affordable housing solutions for guests ready to transition out of the shelter.
