Man arrested as temporary security fencing goes up at Eugene Federal Building

EUGENE, Ore. — A man was arrested as the U.S. General Services Administration installed temporary security fencing around the Eugene Federal Building, the Eugene Police Department (EPD) said Thursday.

37-year-old Christopher Henry Bennett is reported to have continually walked into the number two traffic lane to yell at officers, causing numerous vehicles to stop behind him, despite their having a green light, the EPD stated.
