With mounds of Toledo-area money already flowing to Columbus with minimal returns — the JobsOhio racket and the General Assembly’s evisceration of local-government funding are but two glaring examples — The Blade, perhaps unwittingly, seeks more of it. Specifically, its recent editorial praises a plan to pay a bunch of developers in, yep, Columbus, to revive the sputtering Shops at Fallen Timbers in Maumee.
Bad idea.
