MONROE COUNTY, Mich. — A Toledo man is in custody Friday after deputies say he led a high-speed chase through Monroe County.
The 60-year-old man, whose name has not been released, is accused of initially fleeing Toledo police in a stolen vehicle. Officers ended that pursuit when the driver crossed into Michigan.
A Monroe County sheriff’s deputy later spotted the vehicle at about 12:20 a.m. in a parking lot on Lewis Avenue in Bedford Township, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
