PATASKALA, Ohio (WCMH) — A Licking County woman accused of abusing a 1-year-old girl at a daycare center could serve up to a dozen years in prison.
According to court records, a former employee at the Over the Rainbow Children’s Center in Pataskala entered a change of plea on Friday after being charged on numerous felonies, including 10 counts of endangering children and four counts of kidnapping.

Charges against 24-year-old Katelyn stem from accusations brought against her in July 2025 after it was reported that a woman contacted the Licking County Sheriff’s Office and said her daughter had been abused.
The mother was alerted to the abuse by the director of the facility, who said that Strohacker had bound the child with tape for over an hour. An investigation revealed that painter’s tape was placed over the child’s eyes and her hands and feet were taped together. The girl was then left face down under a blanket and unattended…
