It’s been a busy past few years for the North East Marina, and the work just keeps on coming.
Since 2023, the marina on East Lake Road has dealt with a collapsing sea wall, periodic closures and financial uncertainty. But since the recently established North East Marina Authority fought to buy the property from the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, the marina is moving forward with a new chapter in its history.
“We have made some significant repairs to the sea wall. There was some necessary paving, some drainage that needed to be done. It’s not really sexy stuff, but it’s the nuts and bolts to make sure the marina is safe and operational,” said Dan Adamus, Board President of the North East Community Marina Authority…
