Investigators look for answers in two decade old cold case

Investigators are working to find answers in a cold missing persons case in the Upstate that is now over two decades old. The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office says Heather Sellers was last seen leaving a family member’s home in 2002. She reportedly left with her boyfriend, who has since been convicted of murder in a separate case.

The following day, the boyfriend told a family member of hers that he had dropped Sellers off at a club after picking her up. Sellers was said to be working at a Waffle House near I-85 at the time of her disappearance. She reportedly never went to pick up her final two paychecks…
