LAKELAND, Fla. – A Lakeland woman died early Thursday morning following a single-vehicle crash near the entrance to Interstate 4. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 2:00 AM on April 30, 2026.
State troopers say that the 47-year-old woman was driving a Nissan Maxima westbound on Memorial Boulevard. As she approached the I-4 entrance ramp, she lost control of the sedan and struck a barrier wall.
Investigators confirmed the driver was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the collision. She sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the crash site…
