Teen shot in leg walks into Upstate Hospital, police probe a scene on Grant Boulevard after finding bullet casing

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A teen walked into the Upstate Hospital around 10 a.m. after being shot in the leg, a spokesperson for the Syracuse Police Department told NewsChannel 9 | LocalSYR.com.

The 18-year-old was originally listed in critical condition, but police say he is improving.

Around the same time, police found a bullet casing along Grant Boulevard near Cleveland Avenue. It’s not clear yet if that bullet caused the teen’s injury…
