Two cats rescued, unknown injuries after fire in Camillus

CAMILLUS, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Firefighters have deemed a Camillus home uninhabitable after a fire broke out Friday morning.

The Fairmount Fire Department got a call from the Camillus Police Department about a fire in the Orchard Village neighborhood around 9:15 a.m.

Fire Chief Jacob Carlson said the house had fire coming out of the front door and one of the bedroom windows. They successfully rescued two cats from the burning home…
