Longmeadow attorney accused of misusing client funds, removed from state’s roster of lawyers

LONGMEADOW — After being accused of misusing client funds on multiple occasions, Longmeadow attorney Tyler Scott Kimball is no longer an active member of the Massachusetts bar.

In March, the Board of Bar Overseers and Office of Bar Counsel filed a disciplinary case seeking his disbarment, according to state Supreme Judicial Court documents. Kimball then filed for disability inactive status, which was granted last week.

In its disciplinary petition against Kimball, the Bar Counsel cited a “pattern of neglect,” misrepresentations, false statements to the Office of Bar Counsel, failure to maintain certain financial records, and not always cooperating with the bar’s investigation…
