JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Gov. Tate Reeves is holding off on naming his appointments to the Metro Jackson Water Authority Board, a day after a federal judge blocked the law from taking effect.
The governor made the announcement in a long social media post Friday afternoon, saying he was doing so out of respect for the court.
“The state will continue to work with the court to ensure that when the receivership is terminated, control will be transferred to an entity that can best serve the residents, state offices, and businesses of Jackson,” he said…
