WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A Sedgwick County jury found a 32-year-old man guilty of DUI and leaving the scene of an accident in connection with a deadly crash that happened the night before Thanksgiving in 2023. The sentencing phase of the case against Dalton Huffman is set for June 26.
Prior to the jury decision handed down Friday, the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office said that Huffman pleaded no contest to driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle without a required interlock device.
Previously, Huffman faced an involuntary manslaughter charge in the case surrounding the death of 24-year-old Anastasia Carter.
