After months of steady work, Diamond View Skills Park is entering its final stretch. Jack Hill and Tom Lyons, the organizers behind the project which sits on W Commercial Street, are now turning toward community work days and a potential summer opening.
“We’re getting closer,” said Hill, who began working on the project, with Lyons, in April 2025. “There’s still a bit of work to do, but we’re getting it to a really good point where we can finally start doing some bigger volunteer days.”
Hill said the pair are aiming to bring in around 10 volunteers at a time in May and June as they push toward the finish line and prepare to open. Volunteer days will take place on Sundays, starting around 10 a.m., though final details are still being coordinated…
