The Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to the following 911 calls among many others between April 20 and April 26.
• Aid call: 10 a.m. April 20 (Auburn). After firefighters treated a woman for multiple injuries she had suffered during an assault, a private ambulance motored her to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center.
• Natural gas leak: 2:46 a.m. April 22 (Auburn). Firefighters and HazMat technicians were monitoring a large apartment building where a natural gas leak had been reported. They detected unsafe levels of natural gas and carbon dioxide so they began evacuating the premises. Working with a utility company, crews secured the gas supply and ventilated multiple floors until gas levels returned to safe limits.
