MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) — With just under an hour to go before the Charleston Airshow is expected to begin, crowds are already lining the harbor — umbrellas up, eyes on the sky, and uncertainty still hanging over whether the show will go on as planned.
As of now, the show has not been canceled, but weather conditions remain the deciding factor as low clouds and steady rain move through the Lowcountry. Even so, that uncertainty hasn’t stopped people from showing up — some traveling hours just for a chance to see the Blue Angels take to the skies.
