Jerome Township fire chief placed on administrative leave amid internal investigation

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — According to a direct release, Jerome Township Fire Chief Douglas Stewart has been placed on paid administrative leave effective immediately following a special meeting of the Jerome Township Board of Trustees on Saturday morning.

The board says they met at 8 a.m. to discuss a personnel matter before announcing the decision.
