LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. — Roadways have reopened after an interstate crash in Laurens County that impacted travelers heading into the Upstate on Saturday.
The Newberry County Sheriff’s Office announced on Facebook Saturday morning that a crash had occurred near the 55-mile marker on I-26 West in Laurens County. The sheriff’s office warned drivers heading in that direction to avoid the area and, if possible, find an alternate route. At the time, detours were already in effect at exits 60 and 66 west.
