Arrest in Greensboro hit-and-run brings answers, not relief, for loved ones of off-duty lineman killed

GREENSBORO, N.C. — More than 100 days after a hit-and-run crash killed a 29-year-old off-duty lineman in Greensboro, police made an arrest, a development the victim’s girlfriend says brings answers but not relief.

Chas Sellers was working in Greensboro in January when he was struck and killed along N.C. 68 near Gallimore Dairy Road. Officers found his body in the roadway early in the morning on January 17, but investigators believe he was hit roughly 11 hours earlier.
