Summerfield woman nabbed with drugs again one week after most recent arrest

A Summerfield woman was nabbed with drugs again, one week after her most recent arrest.

Stacy Lynn Steady, 48, was a passenger in the back seat of a black Acura at 12:23 a.m. Wednesday when the vehicle was pulled over because the female driver ran a stop sign, according to an arrest report from the Fruitland Park Police Department. The officer making the traffic stop noticed suspicious movements in the back seat and summoned a K-9 unit to the scene. That led to a search of the vehicle and the discovery of methamphetamine that belonged to Steady.

She was arrested on a felony charge of drug possession and booked at the Lake County Jail. She was released after posting $2,500 bond.
