SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Fire crews are actively responding to several fires that erupted across San Diego County on Saturday, including a cluster of brush fires along Interstate 15 and at least three additional incidents in other areas, according to Cal Fire.

The largest concentration of fires, referred to as the “Mission Fire,” included 14 small blazes burning near northbound I-15 and SR-76. Officials around 2:30 p.m. confirmed that all had stopped. There was no threat to structures, and no evacuations were issued; however, road closures remained in effect as of 3:48 p.m.
