Syracuse, N.Y. — Supporters of the hotly debated Columbus statue gathered in downtown Syracuse Saturday morning to raise concerns over whether a new competition to redesign the space will be fair and transparent.
The group, which previously sued the city, threatened renewed legal action to protect the statue.
