A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Wednesday at 5:27 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 6:30 p.m. for Oneida and Madison counties.
Expect pea-sized hail (0.25 inches) and wind gusts of up to 50 mph.
“At 5:27 p.m., Doppler radar tracked strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Central Square to Bridgeport to near Fabius. Movement was northeast at 40 mph,” states the weather service. “Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.”…
