Police seek 6 men who beat, robbed CTA bus rider on South Side

Chicago police are looking for six men who surrounded and attacked a passenger aboard a CTA bus in Washington Park last month, punching him repeatedly in the face and stealing his headphones and jacket before fleeing.

The victim was riding a bus in the 5800 block of South Martin Luther King Drive when the group closed in on him at around 7:04 p.m. on April 9, according to a community alert Chicago police issued Saturday.

After taking the man’s belongings and punching him multiple times in the face, the six robbers ran off the bus, last seen heading eastbound from 58th Street and King Drive, according to the victim…
