Two Sun Prairie Farmers’ Market vendors injured in crash

SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — Two Sun Prairie Farmers’ Market vendors were taken to the hospital with injuries after police said they were hit by a truck Saturday afternoon.

Police responded to the 100 block of Market Street at around 12:20 p.m., where they learned about the vendors breaking down their booths. A pickup truck associated with a catering company had been delivering food to a nearby event venue when it crashed into a parked vehicle on the street and the vendors on the sidewalk.

Sun Prairie EMS transported the vendors to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Officials said the driver was not injured and did not show signs of impairment…
