Suspect identified in Ottawa shooting that injured officer

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Coffeyville man was identified as a suspect in a Friday night shooting that seriously injured an Ottawa police officer.

Around 5:30 p.m., officers with the Ottawa Police Department Special Tactics and Rescue Team, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and the Ottawa Police Department attempted to serve a warrant at a multi-unit residence near Fifth and Locust streets for a homicide suspect out of Kansas City, Missouri.
