FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Tequila Fest is taking over Chukchansi Park with people coming out for the music, the drinks, and a night out with friends. But with a festival built around alcohol, Fresno Police said the safety plan starts before the first pour.
“We have a lot of officers covering that area that’s going to be patrol officers like me in full uniform, some in an undercover capacity, drone set up, helicopters,” Lieutenant Alfonso Castillo with Fresno Police said.
They’ll have an increased presence around the festival, as law enforcement is stretched thin city-wide…
