Bruno steps down as Colton fire chief

Ray Bruno has retired as Colton’s fire chief, ending 30 years of service with the city.

Bruno began working with the Colton Fire Department in 1996 as a firefighter-paramedic, responding to fires, medical calls and other emergencies, according to a statement on Colton’s website.

Bruno worked as an engineer, captain, battalion chief/fire marshal, and deputy fire chief before being named head of the department in 2024…
