Wichita State picked up 10 event wins Friday and Saturday at the Rock Chalk Classic in Lawrence, Kan., while the Parrish twins recorded quality marks at the Torrin Lawrence Memorial on Saturday in Athens, Ga.
Sophomore Chairo Ogbebor claimed the first win of the weekend, running a personal-best 21.25 in his first 200-meter dash of the outdoor season, and freshman Brody Anderson ran a personal-best 21.75 to finish third. Freshman Zada Brown won the women’s 200 with a time of 24.28 to give the Shockers the sweep of the event.
Senior Sadie Millard followed that up with a season-best time in the 400-meter hurdles to win the event in 59.65, just 0.01 seconds off her personal best…
