FLORIDA — Two men are facing multiple drug trafficking charges following a months-long investigation into alleged gang activity, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the investigation targeted members of the Vice Lords gang and included a “buy/bust” operation. During that operation, authorities say 32-year-old Jose Dehoyos delivered approximately two ounces of cocaine to an undercover detective.
Following the controlled purchase, investigators executed search warrants at homes in South Tampa and Davis Islands. During the searches, deputies reported finding about five pounds of cocaine and marijuana, four pistols, multiple prescription pills and roughly $40,000 in cash…
