Rehoboth man dies from injuries sustained in crash; “one of the greatest guys you would ever meet”

A Bristol County man has died after a collision that took place last month.

According to Fire Chief Scott Lachance, at approximately 12:00 a.m. on April 19th, Attleboro Fire Department crews responded to the area of Angeline Street at Washington Street for a reported motor vehicle crash. Upon arrival, firefighters located a single vehicle that had struck a retaining wall and sustained significant front-end damage.

The sole male occupant was found unresponsive inside the vehicle. Crews used hydraulic rescue tools to free the driver, a process that took approximately 10 minutes to complete. CPR was initiated immediately, and the patient was transported to a Rhode Island hospital for emergency care…
