Margaritas, mariachi and more: Where to party this Cinco de Mayo in Philly

Whether you’re in it for the margaritas, the music or the tacos, Cinco de Mayo in Philly is bringing big energy across the city.

East Market

This Tuesday, East Market vendors Mi Vida and The Wayward will be celebrating the occasion with an outdoor celebration from 3 to 7 p.m. The fiesta will feature tacos, tequila, a DJ set and a live Mexican dance performance from Ballet Folklórico Yaretzi.

El Techo

This rooftop spot will be full of Cinco de Mayo energy from 3 to 11 p.m. on May 5. The party will feature a “music-filled night” featuring three DJs (DEV, TPATT, and Hippie Habitat), live performances from Aurora Entertainment, a prize wheel and a swag table. The space will have an area for dancing and mingling, as well as tables so visitors can post up and try some of El Techo’s menu staples (including queso, brisket tacos, Mexican popsicles and more.)
