A Chester County Institution With Deep Roots
Founded by Ben Briggs on November 1, 1979, the pharmacy began in a roughly 400-square-foot suite in the Medical Arts building on Route 100. Over the years, it moved through several Chester County locations, including Downingtown and Gordon Drive in Exton.
Finally, owner Mike Briggs found what he hopes will be its permanent home: a former bank building at 200 E. Uwchlan Ave. in Exton, where the pharmacy fully opened in December 2015.
A Family Legacy Built on Vision
For Mike Briggs, Lionville Natural Pharmacy is more than a business. It is a family legacy.
His dad, Ben, was the kind of person Mike describes as hardworking, caring, intelligent, and ahead of his time. In the early 1990s, Ben made a decision that reshaped the pharmacy’s future.
