New ‘Writing Forward’ podcast celebrates Wisconsin’s literary scene

Writer Jeff Oloizia once thought he had leave Madison to live a life of literature.

“It felt important to leave and go to the places where I thought writers were,” Oloizia said. He lived in Japan, then the San Francisco Bay Area. He spent five years in New York (working in part for T: The New York Times Magazine) before earning a Master of Fine Arts at the University of North Carolina in Wilmington.
