NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The very first weekend of May is going to end on a pleasant note…
Temperatures were a smidge bit warmer than what we felt on Saturday making it up to 75-degrees for Sunday’s high temperatures for New Orleans — still below average for this time of year, but after Friday’s 60s, we’ll gladly take it!
For now, the temperatures will begin to drop down into the 60s for the overnight:
There’s still some time to check out the last of this year’s Firemen’s Fair out in Thibodaux and the weather will surely cooperate out in those parts.
Winds are back down to just a “calm breezy” by the time we get to 9 p.m., but they will pick up once again in the coming days.
Lots of sunshine all across southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi for your Sunday with some clouds rolling into the area for the overnight into Monday morning……
