Kansas detention deputy arrested after allegedly conspiring to kill inmate

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A former detention deputy was arrested after allegedly conspiring with inmates at the Trego County Law Enforcement Center to kill someone being held in a separate facility.

According to a news release from the Trego County Attorney’s Office, the man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.
