Greeley City Council To Consider Land Annexation

The Greeley City Council on Tuesday will consider a resolution to annex about 325 acres of land near Windsor — a move that could escalate tensions over the property as Windsor officials have long expressed interest in annexing the same area. According to the Greeley Tribune, council will also consider an ordinance to make Acting City Manager Brian McBroom’s appointment to the role official after he was recently named the sole finalist for the position. The council will consider the first reading of an ordinance naming McBroom as the next city manager. The council will also formally announce the salary and benefits he will receive for the position.
